Sunderland Shorts Film Festival

Bureau created a visual identity and a range of promotional material for the inaugural Sunderland Shorts Film Festival, which took place in July 2015.

Based around an interchangeable palette of red, white, and blue, and a large set of illustrations, a bright, flexible identity was created to produce materials with energy and variety.

A fully responsive website was designed around accommodating information for both competing filmmakers and the festival audience, including a box office, film submission guidelines, and full details of all 7 festival screenings.

We designed the festival's printed programme, containing full screening information, map and venue details, and information on the festival's fringe events.

The flexibility of the festival's identity was exhibited through the event's promotional posters.

Bureau also named and designed a promotional edition of local ale Double Maxim, sold at venues throughout the festival.
